I'm gonna moan (sorry guys)!!!!!

Hopefully this will be a place where I can honestly say what I want to without getting labelled a "bad fan" or having personal abuse, as I have done on other boards.

I've read through a couple of the posts here ( sorry haven't had time to read more but I only joined yesterday) and I'm also one of the people who are well and truly pissed off with this "six month sabbatical", the way we get made to feel bad for speaking our minds and generally the way things are in "Darren Land" at the mo.

I can't remember who posted it (sorry!!) but somebody was talking about Leonie's Diary and the way she talks down to fans and I couldn't agree more. Yes I know I'm nobody important in Darrens life and I may just be a lowly fan, but I don't like being talked down to as if I'm a 5 year old child, which is the way I felt after reading the latest D-Zine.

I also agree with Bromley(I think, sorry again!!!!) for being annoyed at finding out about the six month sabbatical through Hello magazine. I do have alot more thoughts about this but will keep them to myself for a bit as I don't wanna alienate myself from people here as soon as I've arrived!!!

Generally I'm just pissed off at the whole state of afairs at the mo, although saying that, yes I am still a huge fan of Darren. Yes, I do enjoy the forum on the fanclub and have made some brilliant friends through there. Yes, I do drool too much!!!! But don't like the fact that as a fan I cant say when things are getting to me(on other boards) and just because I'm a fan of Darren it doesnt mean that I have to agree with every single thing he says or does.

I sincerely hope that I haven't annoyed or upset anybody with what I have said .I haven't come here with the intention of upsetting people, I'm just looking for a place where I can vent sometimes and not get made to feel like shit for doing so.

I don't think you're moaning, like me I think you're concerned about someone you care about who gives you a lot of pleasure. I think there are probably more disgruntled fans out there who are worried about sticking their necks out. Like you I don't like being talked down to like a 5 year old. It seems if you're a fan of someone you can't possibly have a brain. Sorry it makes me angry. Isn't it a shame we can't say what we think on the FC forum?
